Kim's Mission:
To Make Business Better From The Inside Out
As CEO of The Innovare Group, Kim brings over 20 years of practical business experience as a cross-functional executive into her work. Kim’s goal is to make business better from the inside out. Her diverse business experiences - successes as well as failures - were gained serving on boards and working for global, corporate, VC-funded, non-profit, and family-owned businesses.
Kim's speaker style is engaging and thought provoking. She weaves in humor with relevant business stories that are relatable and connect with the audience.
Her facilitation style incorporates asking questions and generating conversation. Structured as a working session, her approach promotes self-generated insight and provides skills that are practical and immediately applicable.
One of the most significant skills Kim brings into her strategy work is the ability to see the big picture. This allows her to 1) assess the cross-functional operations of a company, 2) see the gaps in alignment among critical lines of business and leadership skills, and 3) provide comprehensive and easily digestible solutions that incorporate the leadership behaviors that need to evolve in order to support the business and leader better in achieving the shared goals.
Kim holds an International MBA from the University of Denver with an emphasis in International Policy and Relations and is a certified executive advisor. Kim's commitment to solving complex issues extends to the fight against breast cancer where she serves on the National Board of Directors for Susan G. Komen Headquarters based in Dallas, Tx.
